A Story of Faith and Gratitude: Rajesh Budithi

It was eleven in the morning on May 1, 2024, when Rajesh received the call. His father was working on the second floor at a construction site when a live electrical wire with minimal clearance passed overhead and touched him. Rajesh’s father received a shock and fell to the ground.

When the news reached Rajesh, Junior Finance Executive at CriticalRiver, he presumed the worst had happened. But he had not lost hope.

“People around me were shouting that he was dead. In that moment, all I could do was pray to God and hold on to hope,” Rajesh said.

Chaos followed soon with the doctors delivering a grim verdict, unable to promise anything. Rajesh was asked to move his father to other hospitals. Every passing moment was then a cruel race against time.

Finally, when he was admitted to a hospital, the doctors said he required an immediate surgery which would cost an astronomical amount. Helplessness gripped Rajesh and he felt paralyzed by the sheer uncertainty of what to do next.

Just then, in his darkest hour, something extraordinary happened.

“My manager, Chandra Sekhar Thottempudi, arrived at the hospital, as a saviour in disguise. Without waiting for me, he took matters into his own hands and rallied my team and others at CriticalRiver. Together, they raised the funds needed for the first surgery. It was a miracle born of kindness and unity, a moment I will never forget,” Rajesh said.

With the support of CriticalRiver and his family, Rajesh’s father recovered from his injuries.

“I will forever be grateful to every person who contributed, but I want to especially thank our CEO Anji Maram, Srilakshmi Maram, Chandra Chandragiri, Chandra Sekhar Thottempudi , Venkat Rao Garmidi, Srikanth Reddy Sarasam, Karanam Naga Raghunandan, and Amram Dayakar Vippalla for going above and beyond to help my family,” Rajesh said.

Rajesh believes that no words can fully express the depth of his gratitude, but the impact of their kindness would forever remain a cherished and unforgettable blessing.

“CriticalRiver’s generosity was more than a blessing—it was a lifeline that changed by despair into hope,” said Rajesh.
